The Dipgate Method

To simplify the process as much as possible, we automatically set up autologin on your VPS. The only thing you need to do is move your platform's shortcut from the desktop to the "My Platforms Autostart" folder.

 

Note, the autostart is set up with the default password, so if you change your VPS password, you will need to reset it following the instructions below.

 

Easy Method

To autostart MetaTrader 4 or 5 (MT4 or MT5) after a reboot on a Virtual Private Server (VPS) using the Windows Autologon.exe utility and Startup folder, you can follow these steps:

1) Connect to your VPS using a remote desktop client or other method.

2) Download the Zip folder in your vps from this link: https://dipgate.com/dl.php?type=d&id=1

3) Place the Zip folder on your desktop, then right-click on it and select "Extract All..."

4) Run the Autologon.exe utility on your VPS.

5) In the "Autologon" window, enter your username (Usually "Administrator"), password, and domain (here put your IP Address) and then click on the "Enable" button.

6) Click on the "OK" button to save your changes.

7) Open the "Startup Shortcut" folder on your VPS.

8) Copy the shortcut for your MT4 or MT5 terminal into the "Startup" folder.

9) Restart your VPS to test it.

After completing these steps, your MT4 or MT5 terminal should start automatically after a reboot of your VPS.

 

Original Method

To autostart MetaTrader 4 or 5 (MT4 or MT5) after a reboot on a Virtual Private Server (VPS) using the Windows Autologon.exe utility and Startup folder, you can follow these steps:

1) Connect to your VPS using a remote desktop client or other method.

2) Download the Autologon.exe utility from the Microsoft website or from a trusted source and save it to your VPS.

3) Run the Autologon.exe utility on your VPS.

4) In the "Autologon" window, enter your username (Usually "Administrator"), password, and domain (here put your IP Address) and then click on the "Enable" button.

5) Click on the "OK" button to save your changes.

6) Open the "Startup" folder on your VPS.

Ps. for open "Startup" folder, Click on the "Start" button and select "Computer" or "This PC", In the new window, double-click on the "C:" drive to open it. So double-click on "ProgramData" (ProgramData is an invisible folder, so click above in "view" and tick "Hidden Items" in order to see it)  -> "Microsoft" -> "Windows" -> "Start Menu" -> "Programs" -> "Startup" to open the Startup folder.

7) Copy the shortcut for your MT4 or MT5 terminal into the "Startup" folder.

8) Restart your VPS to test it.

After completing these steps, your MT4 or MT5 terminal should start automatically after a reboot of your VPS.
